Guests

1. The Board of Directors of Stratford Townhouses Consumer Housing Cooperative does resolve that occupancy of any dwelling unit within the Cooperative by any person or persons other than those listed on an original application for membership, or on the most recent recertification form(s), shall be considered to violate the terms and conditions of an Occupancy Agreement signed between a member and the Cooperative, and shall be cause for termination of that Membership. The Board of Directors shall consider, when requested in writing on a form provided therefore, any request made by a member for a temporary guest permit for any visitor who will remain on the property for a period less than ninety (90) days. Such permit is to be presented to the Board for consideration in advance of the arrival of the temporary guest.

2. Any resident who has a guest who remains in the Cooperative for any period exceeding ninety (90) days shall be required to complete an Application for Occupancy, pay an application processing fee and recerify their family composition and income. The approval of such application of occupancy shall be subject to Stratford Townhouse’s Resident Selection Procedures and Criteria. Decertification and monthly housing charges assessed shall be subject to the normal Board and HUD policies regarding family composition and income level.
