Space Heaters Policy
The use of space heaters by residents/Members of Stratford Townhouses Cooperative has been determined by the Board of Directors to have a substantial and detrimental effect on the availability of insurance coverage to the Cooperative. It is hereby resolved that use of space heater(s) by any member of the Cooperative within their dwelling unit shall be considered a violation of Article 5 of the Occupancy Agreement, and shall cause the Cooperative to institute immediate termination proceedings against such member. Storage of space heaters within a dwelling unit of the Cooperative shall be deemed to be prima facia evidence of use for the purpose of this Policy statement.
